Am just now starting to try to track several.... I'm not back very far with any of the lines in Lincoln/Catawba yet, but they seem (mostly) to have been in NC by the late 1700's, and wouldn't be surprised if most of them didn't come from PA. 'Tis a curiosity at this point.......
