I have a Joseph Whittaker who left a will 22 Feb. 1837 and was probated on 14 May,1838 at the Wythe County Courthouse. I also have a Rev.War pension applacation, Nov.13,1832 from Wythe County Order Book 1829-1833, pages 425-427. Therefore, I assume Joseph died and was buried in Wythe County, Va., however I can not find where he was buried. Could someone who has resources in the county please look for me and help me find where he may be buried? Also anyone having any books or any information on Wythe County that may mention Joseph Whittaker and his wife Obedience Perdue or his other wife, Carmilla Adkins I would be most grateful for any crumb of information. He left a house and land in his will, not much on this I know about. Joseph is my brick wall, born at sea, parents die at sea coming from England. He was taken by ?? and raised somewhere in N.C. and bounded out for either passage or keep. Like I said before I would be delighted and most grateful to have any crumb of information on Joseph. Can any one help me? Connie Knipp Va. Beach,Va. --part1_0.6e3da969.2582630b_boundary--
