GG-grandfather John Lewis(Louis) Barnes abt.1864 married Flora Weeks abt.1867, they had a least 4 sons, one of which was my G-grandfather Nassie Louis Barnes b. 1888 he was married to (1st) Flonnie Godwin b.1898,(2nd) Evelyn Murphy b.?. From what I know on this family they lived around the Johnston and Harnett County Line, Pleasant Grove Township and or Grove Township, North Carolina. John Lewis Barnes may have had a sister named Pink not sure (a head stone with that name on grave), also a stone with; JAs Barnes 6,21 (15) 198 their are a few more in the graveyard that can make out.
