I have posted off and on for over 2 years now, but it's not stopping me from posting again. Some day, someone will have the info I need. I am searching for a MORTON family that had a James in it (born between 1780-1790) that ended up at some point living in Anderson County, TN. He is listed in that county's census for that year. Trying desperately to find the proof that he might be my gg-grandfather, David MORTONs, parents. I have no idea who his parents were, but living nearby was a Tilda MORTON (older than this James) and she could also be the mother of our David. Thanks so much for checking your records. Nina
