I will always remember the white deer story. Thank you for sharing this with us. I took my nephew hunting for the first time this year and he asked me where do white deer come from, I told him about genetics. I will now tell him this story! I remember looking under Cyndi's lists for VA, and rootsweb and finding a list of early VA passengers. I found my ancestors in Isle of Wight,VA. In my research it said the land of the "Lost Colony" is now called Isle of Wight. I think there is a great deal about it on the net.
