Anyone know of a James SMITH (ugh) born about 1780, possibly in the Cumberland Co. area... married to Rebecca STEPHENSON. They migrated (via South Carolina) to southern Mississippi by 1820 where they are pretty well documented. Would love to connect with anyone with a Smith/Stephenson connection!
