It's odd...they list McDonalds. I always thought the distinction between Scottish and Irish was that Irish was MC and Scottish was MAC. Thats why many Irish, upon arriving in America and finding how they (Irish) were treated, changed their spellings to MAC to sound Scottish. Not saying that list of people was wrong. I'm saying my thought of the naming patterns must be wrong, or not as strict as I thought. Anyone know more on this?
