Dear List Friends, My ggg-grandparents were John M. WILLIAMS and Mirah (also called Marie) ROSSON. They were both born in NC. I don't know where. Marie was born in 1808. John died in The War Between the States and is buried in Dover, TN. John M. WILLIAMS, b. NC, d. bet.1861-1865, TN +Mirah ROSSON, b. NC April 1808 Jemima WILLIAMS, b. abt 1844 in NC Maragret WILLIAMS, b. abt. 1847 in TN Catherine Elizabeth WILLIAMS, b. Sept. 1848 in TN Andrew G. WILLIAMS, b. abt 1852 in TN So, I am thinking that they were probably in NC until 1847, and then in TN until 1852. But, the only census where I have found them is the Gallatin Co., IL 1870 census, and John wasn't there, of course. Catherine WILLIAMS married Ira H. HUTCHINSON there in December of that year.
