Seeking information on Bud(sp?) Whisnant who was said to have had a daughter Bernice Porter Simms. Bernice at one time lived in Kings Mountain but later moved to Blacksburg SC. A mortuary paper list a husband of Bill Simms. Bernice mother was Frances Porter who had two other children out of wedlock. Jesse Porter and Lucy Porter Brackett. Any Help would be appreciated.
