You might be thinking of either BURKE or BRUNSWICH county, NC. Burke County is in the western part of NC while Brunswick is on the coast near Wilmington. Past and Present NC counties beginning with the letter 'B' are; BATH, BEAUFORT, BERTIE, BLADEN, BRUNSWICK, BUNCOMBE, BURKE, and BUTE. Bath and Bute no longer exist. Hope this helps -- ROB Robert G.
