Hello all, I'm hoping that by running my Travis info by you all, someone will recognize this and be able to help. I'm looking for information on Sarah TRAVIS, born 1802 in Jackson County, GA. She married Lewis MOORE of NC in NC. (I don't know the counties of either his birth or their marriage.) I descend from their daughter Elizabeth. Sarah had a brother, Isaac, who was born 1796 in Jackson County, GA, and their father was David TRAVIS, who I am told, was born in New York, but I am also told that he could have been born in NC. Do any NC Travis researchers have any insight or opinion into this ?
