There is a Lathem Family Cemetery in the Dacusville community of Pickens Co., SC, not NC. This is most likely near the Saluda River also. Two John Lathems are listed, but none who died in 1836. This cemetery is found in "Pickens County South Carolina Cemetery Survey" Volume One, beginning on page 40.
