Hi Laura and Frankie and List members, I am sorry but it has been over 10 yrs. ago when I sent for the records. All I can tell you is that I sent to the National Archives for the records. The more information you can give them, such as Name, DOB, state living in at beginning of the war, etc. the better your chances are of getting the correct records. I hope that someone on the list can post the on-line URL for the National Archives as I believe it will have all the information that you will need to send for the records. I used to have the address---until my computer crashed----and I remember seeing a lot of information about how to send for records on the site.
