Cindy, Marsha and others, If this bond does mean that the marriage was between a Native American and a white which one was the Native American? Absolum or Darcus? According to family tradition someone in the family lines was Native American. To this date I can't find it but it could be that it was hidden so well?? I have also heard it was illegal for Indians and whites to marry in that time frame.
