I am searching for the Weathers/Withers family out of NC and am at a loss to find my particular line. I would like to find information on a Samuel WEATHERS who apparently was living in NC around 1770, then moved to Laurens Co., SC in 1772 where he purchased land. Samuel was the husband of Martha DURHAM/DURRAM and they had a daughter Isabel who was apparently born in NC (according to baptismal records). I know of a few Samuel WEATHERS's that were in VA around the 1720's but cannot connect any of them to a specific family.
