Folks, generally it's the perogative of the list manager to ask for a roll call. In my opinion, NCROOTS is just too big a list for this. Thank you Cindy, Louise, Ruth, and everyone else who responded quickly to this issue while I wasn't reading the list mail today. You are always welcome to post queries about NC families that you are researching. But please, USE A GOOD SUBJECT LINE. Give a surname, a county if you know it, an approximate date, something to let the readers know who you're looking for. Add some details in the body of the message so that it will have some value to future researchers when it's archived.
