These all have the form NCLINCOL-L NCGASTON-L i.e. NC plus the first six letters of the county name. It's possible however that there are also other lists on other systems, and if these pre-date the rootsweb lists they may be more active. You should check the Lincoln and Gaston county NCGenWeb pages (linked from the home page in my signature below). If such lists exist, they'll tell you about them You might also look at CATAWBA-WEST-L@rootsweb.com, which is an excellent regional list covering more than just Catawba county.
