RADCLIFFE, d. 1869 NC, son of James Radcliffe and his first wife Mina Anderson (later Lord) James was son of Charles and Charlotte Maria Livingstone, Countess of Newburg of Scotland. He came to NC in 1749 with his father. Charles was son of Lady Mary Tudor and Edward Radcliffe, 2nd Earl of Darwentwater. Lady Mary was illegitimate daughter of actress Mary Davis and King Charles II. Lady Mary was banished to the Carolinas by Queen Anne.
