Hi, I know that currently that Petitions for Partition of heir property are in the local Courthouses, but what about from the mid to early 1800's, i.e. 1800-1850. I have seen reference to these early Petitions in the Minutes of the Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions, but where would the original Petitions be in the county, or archives, also where and how would they be filed for this time period???
