I have an uncle by marriage who is a Cheshire. So I am trying to gather some information for him as a surprise. He was told that his grandfather was Edward b 1859 married to Addie Mae Horn. This may have been a second marriage. Edward was 43 when my uncle's dad, Raymond, b 1902, was born. Raymond and family lived in Cumberland County NC. The family had roots in Bladen County NC and Georgia. We were also told that Edward's father was Nicholas however I saw on the internet where a generation might have been left out. So maybe Barnabus is Edward's dad and Nicholas is his grandfather. It appears that Edward did not talk much about his past. I am told that Edward did have siblings but I have no names. I did not mean to ramble on and I apologize if this is not too clear. Any help or clarification on the Cheshire family will be greatly appreciated.
