John Craddocks Company; ID#NC23159; Transferred from 5th REG NC. Dec 1777 to June 1778 I am researching John Swindle, Sr who was a Rev. War Vet from Culpeper Co VA and served with the VA regiments. I am also researching his son John Swindle, Jr of Ashe Co NC. This Jesse is not in my direct line, but certainly related somehow to my line. I am very proud to see that a SWINDLE was at Valley Forge with Gen George Washington. Even though I may not be directly descended from him, I am still extremely proud!!
