Yadkin River. Matthew Campbell 2 Feb 1760 of Anson, south fork of Catawba River. John Campbell 11 Oct 1765 Cold Water Creek. Patrick Campbell and wife Eliner of PA, sold land 12 April 1762. Bought it 15 July 1756 on Fourth Creek. Jesse and wife Margaret Land Grant 7 Feb 1764. They lived at Long Cane Settlement, SC and sold their Rowan Co NC land to Howard Smith. James Campbell North side of Dutchman's Creek 25 Mar 1752. 25 Mar 1752 James also South side of Cane Creek and Division Run. 10 Oct 1783 State Grant # 476 to John Campbell Sr. 640 acres on Cold Water Creek and Buffalo Creek. 10 Oct 1783 State Grant # 488 Archibald Campbell on Cold Water Creek adj John Campbell.
