Hi Listers: First, I want to apologize to those folks who will receive this as a double post. I am new to the REYNOLDS list and thought I would cover my bases. Is there anyone who has the Randolph Co. marriage bonds that could look up a marriage for the folks listed below, OR can anyone on these lists connect to these folks? I have checked the Randolph Co. marriages that are on the Net, but wondered if this included ALL marriages bonds. I'm looking for ANY record of Miles REYNOLDS b.abt 1827 in NC (believed to be in Randolph Co.). He might have died, or divorced, bef. 1869. All that is really documented is the woman believed to be his wife, Tabitha Ann FIELDS b.1829, shows up in Pike Co., Ky. marrige bonds in 1869 marrying Andrew ADKINS. She married as Tabitha Ann Reynolds from NC. In the 1870 census, Andrew and Tabitha have William Harrison b.1852 NC, Orlando b.1854 NC, and Lowvina b.1855 NC. Mary M. b.1856 NC is living with her grandparents a few houses away. These children are obviously from her marriage to a Reynolds. Prior to the marriage bond (1869), there is no record in Pike County of Tabitha, nor her children. The Katherine and Martha referred to below never show up in Pike Co. at any time. REYNOLDS appear in Pike Co. from 1850 on, but Tabitha apparently lived with her father and mother who was William and Sarah FIELDS. None of the REYNOLDS households had a Miles, nor does Tabitha's children ever live with them. Another researcher told me there is a marriage bond in Randolph Co. NC for Miles Reynolds and Tabitha Fields in 1850; Miles was the son of Gideon and Pharibah (Glasgow) Reynolds; and Miles and Tabitha also had girls Katherine and Martha. Can anyone help me verify the other researchers claim or can anyone connect to this family? I really would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks a million! Glenna
