Belle, Do you happen to have any information on the Michael SWAIM (b: ca. 1786) who married Priscilla SHERWOOD (b: 3/17/1787, Guilford Co, NC, dau. of Daniel Sherwood & Frances Linthicum)? They married in Guilford on Feb. 24, 1804. This Michael Swaim was possibly the brother of William SWAIM (son of John Swaim & Elizabeth Vickery) who md: Elizabeth Sherwood on 12/17/1789, Guilford Co. There was a Michael Swaim who lived 'next door' to my ancestor, John Pavey, on the Guilford Co, NC census and I've been trying to find some information about him for quite a while. The Michael Swaim (above) would have been only 14 yrs old in 1800. However, the Paveys and the Sherwoods were known comrads previous to their NC move (from Caroline Co, MD), and then (by 1820), are found in Washington Co, IN. Thanks.
