OCTOBER MEETING This month the Robeson County Genealogical Society will meet on Saturday, October 4th, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. the O. P. Owens Agricultural Center west of I-95 near Lumberton. Directions: From Lumberton take West 5th Street from downtown - continue straight across I-95 and continue about one mile to Stop Light - turn right onto Hwy 72 - continue to the third drive way to the left - turn left in third drive and O. P. Owens will be on your left. >From I-95 take Exit 17 and turn west - continue about one mile to Stop Light - turn right onto Hwy 72 - continue to the third drive way to the left - turn left in third drive and O. P. Owens will be on your left. This month we will be having a "Round Table Discussion" on our Genealogical Problems. Bring your Ancestral Family Tree Charts, Family Group Sheets, etc..... We will have tables set up so you can lay your information out where it can be seen. Each person will be given an opportunity to tell the group what they already have, and what they are looking for. We will be discussing from the floor, tips and advise on how to find the documentation you need. If you are unable to attend and if you are interested in becoming a member of the Society, a single membership is $15.00, and family membership is $20.00.
