I am trying to locate the parents and siblings of Caleb Hope, born 1819 in NC. I don't even know what county to look for him in, and I have been searching for a long time. He married a Pamela Deal in 1843 in South Carolina and made a trip to TN before settling in AL. Their first known child was born in Tennessee. Caleb has a "G" in front of Caleb on some records, and there are land records that he made his mark for Caleb H. Hope. I would appreciate any help that the list can give me. The family moved to Texas in the late 1890s. Please give me your thoughts on where I should look next. Thank you, Bernice Hope Doyle
