I am trying, still, to locate my NEWELL family that was in NC in 1850 the earliest I have so far. Bryant NEWELL, 26, illiterate and Edith NEWELL also illiterate, had 3 children, Edward NEWELL my gggrandfather, being one of them. Is there any way that I can maybe find if Bryant and Edith were married? they would have married very young, Bryant being 17 when Edward was born.. How can I find what happened to Bryant not knowing his date of death, just his year of birth or approximate year anyway.
