    3. Hi Carla, The USGS GNIS web site shows a Tarawana Terrace Elementary School, Tarawa Terrace I (subdivision), Tarawa Terrace II (subdivision) and Lejeune High School. They're all in Onslow County, NC. Tarawa Terrace I and Lejeune High School are on the Camp Lejeune USGS Map. USGS GNIS Query Form: http://geonames.usgs.gov/pls/gnis/web_query.gnis_web_query_form Bill Allen <[email protected]> Carla Townsend wrote: > I do know that Tarawa Terrace, at one time, had its own post office and zip > code. 3. YES, thats absolutely correct. Except "Tarawa Terrace" is the correct spelling rather than "Tarawana Terrace ". It was named after the Marine's invasion of Tawara in 1943. You can read more about it at http://www.geocities.com/stu_hill/Tarawa.htm.
