I am really having problems on finding an obituary on this Oates. I would appreciateany help on him if possible. Parham Yarboro Oates(Oats) b. 17 Feb. 1817 Bear Creek, Chatham County, North Carolina m. between 1848and May 2, 1849 His wife was Nancy Stewart, She was from NC also... She was the daughter of John Stewart and Dianna Riddle Stewart.. Parham Was paralyzed,,,, not sure if from the war or something else. Haven't been able to find anything other than the 1860 and 70 census of Moore county, NC. I want to know if and where he died and is buried....
