    3. Warren Yes thank you. I am interested in your Henry BLURTON. It is not the same one I am looking at, as he was born abt. 1813. But his parents (names unknown) were both from NC, as was his wife and what appears to be an allied family, PIERCE*PEARCE (which is my line). Why was he granted 200 acres? Did he remain in NC? Are there any CHEROKEE from Johnston CO? (I am not sure where Johnston County is located). My PIERCE*PEARCE line is presumed to be of Cherokee origin, although I am leaving all options open, researching it both with the presumption that they were and were not Cherokee. So I am very curious about GREEN'S PATH. Yes, more information would be wonderful, as I have had so much difficulty tracking my lines from TN back to NC. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you. Lori Researching Pierce/Pearce, Cook, DeShazo, Simons, Gilliland/Gillian/Gilland/Gillam, Stokes, Sparks, Faulkner/Falkner, Bolling/Bowling/Bolland/Bollen/Bowls. Other lines: Purcell, Waldrop, Jones, Vawter, Strain.
