I bet this is probably Tarawa Terrace. It is a military housing area that is actually part of Camp Lejeune, NC. It is near Jacksonville, NC. Just a guess! I don't think Camp Lejeune is listed as a city or town. It is a U.S. Marine base name, in the city of Jacksonville, N. C. in Onslow county. But I think that is is correct that Tarawa Terrace is a location on the base. I do know that Tarawa Terrace, at one time, had its own post office and zip code. I lived there for a time when my father was stationed at Camp Lejeune.
