I am still searching for information on Bryant NEWELL, his parents I need, where he was from. I see on the census that he was born in NC but where did his parents come from. This was ca 1820, he was 17 years old when Edward Robert NEWELL was born in Cumberland County, NC so that makes him born ca 1780-90 I know he must have come from maybe VA or further north. Also Hiram WRIGHT born ca 1820, looking for his parents also. Hiram was born in NC and he married at least 3 times in Cumberland County and I found, or rather a very helpful person did, another marriage for him when he was old in VA. Can someone help me on these? Hiram married 3 Bowden sisters (I believe them to be sisters), Sarah being my gggrandmother. Any help appreciated.
