Can anyone tell me exactly where to look for deeds pre 1746, for land which later is found in Granville Co between 1746-1764 and then later in Warren Co (possibly Shocco District, but specifically NS of Shooco/Shocco Creek, and SS Great Shocco Creek and BS Little Shockoe Creek)? Also, can anyone tell me what NS, SS, or BS means ? My searching for deeds of this region. in what I assumed were the predecessor Counties of Edgecombe Co (LDS film 1732-1741) and Bertie Co 1721- found nothing . Where are deeds for Shocco/Shockoe/Shoco/Shccco Creek land, which I find after 1746 in Granville/Warren, to be found before 1746? Thank you. Loren
