Mother always said he was named after his Mother's family.... He was in Georgia February 07, 1841 when he married Edith Haney. I am going to assume he was about age 20... making him born c1820...With children not named on the census, and no knowledge of the county of his birth, and no parent names, I have quite the challenge.
