Thanks you for sharing it with the rest of us. I will use cool whip cause whipping egg whites takes too much time. I have to work this weekend and I think I'll make it for my fellow nurses. I have not posted to the group and I guess this is good time. I am researching: 1.James Madison Varner~ 1820-30 in Randolph CT[?] Can not find his father he was married to a Laura Davis[1830-1915] thats all I know about her 2. Gabriel Russell ~ 1764 his son Gabriel Russell [1789-1857] married to Marget Hearne[1789-1843] 3. John Davis 1735-1806 married to Mary Chamnes 4. Richard Stout 1614-1703 married Penelpoe Kent Van Prince 5. Jesse Cox ~1800 married to a Mary all I know 6. DM Cox married to a Arbie King !1800's all I know 7. Mary Dixon1864-1910 married to Benjamin F Sutton I have my Sutton traced but not Dixon 8.Thomas M Pickard 1835- 1924 married to Emily Pickett 1866-1930 All of my lines come to NC some from VA others from more northern areas. Many were Quakers in the area around Asheboro. I have been to the grave yards of I lot of the meeting houses and have to return since I have more names to search for. My family comes from Greensboro, NC and until 1973 lived there on the family farm. I would love for some help with any of the names or I'll share what I know about them also. Everyone have a joyous Thanksgiving and remember to whom we give thanks for the freedom we enjoy in this country. Patsy Varner Seay

    1. [NCROOTS] Frustrated County Lookups End!
    2. Have you ever gotten frustrated trying to find out what county a particular community is in? You have gone to the gazetteer of your Rand-McNally or other map and then tried to find it on the map, if it is even in the Gazeteer. It takes a lot of time and trouble. You can now find out readily what county a location is in on the Mid-Atlantic Roots Network at: http://midatlantic.rootsweb.com/ We have a finder for New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania called "Where in the Mid-Atlantic Region is It?" on this page as well as a link to a finder for the rest of the county called "Where in the US is it?". It will even map the location for you if you desire. We hope that you find this helpful. Thanks! Don & Jeanine
