I have several NC books & will do a look up for you if you're interested: Grimes Will abstracts Olds supplement to Grimes NC Taxpayers Orange Co. Wills Granville Co. Marriages NC & SC marriages (fr news) Any of the following that you can do will be appreciated. I am most interested in the Williams surname but they all intermarried after getting to KY so I figure they knew each other in Rutherford Co. BRIDGES: Thomas & Moses of Morgan District. Trying to prove that Winney wife of Benj Williams was a Bridges. There was some close connection between the 2 families besides being neighbors. HUCKABY: if the surname is there, just give me the given names, no data at this point. WILLIAMS: I don't know parents for my Benjamin WILLIAMS & Winney his wife. But here is my data on them & their children: Benj. & Winney & their family left Rutherford c1798 & settled in Barren Co., KY where he d. c1817. I think she d. in IL. Benjamin possibly b. c1740-45 in VA. The dates here are mostly from census records & in reality could be much different. Their children who all m. in KY so just need their births or other data prior to 1800: 1. Nancy [1], b. c1768 NC, d. after 1844, 2. Mary "Polly" [8], b. bef 1790, 3. Jonas/Jones [2], b. bef 1774 NC, d. after 1821, 4. Sally [7], b. bef 1790, 5. Rachel [3], b. aft 1784 Rutherford Co., NC, 6. Elizabeth "Betsy" [9], b. bef 1790 Ruth.Co., 7. John W. 3. Good Morning Everyone, I have a request which I hope someone can answer. I am trying to find any and all information about the George and Henry Colson/Coulson of Rockingham and Guilford counties. George married hannah Wright in Guilford county 27 Nov 1775. Henry went to TN after he received a land grant for Revolutionary service about 1795. I think I know who the Isaac Colson in Guilford county was, but these two have been a mystery to me. Where they brothers? father and son? where did they come from? Cindy in NC
