You might try looking under Rowe in addition to the Roe. I had a Rowe surname very early on (1500s) whose daughter migrated to VA as the wife of Christopher Lewis...she might have had brothers who came as well. Dear list, This is my personal thoughts on Roll Calls so feel free to delete here. I find Roll Calls to be most annoying because they tell me nothing. Many of us have access to NC material but we need more than a surname. Why not take the time to add a first name and a date, you would have a better chance of getting a response. Thomas Lane appeared in Johnston County (later Dobbs), Now Green County and bought land in 1744 Looking for Parents, Spouse and Children of this Thomas Lane.
