My connection to Rockingham Co. is James Burchell b-abt 1818. Moved to Hawkins Co. Tn. by 1830 and married Catherine ? around 1840. They were in Grainger Co. TN in 1880. children of James Burchell and Catherine are: George b-1843,Elizabeth b-1845, Penelope b-1848, William b-1850, Richard b-1852, Eliza b-1855, John b-1857, Minerva b-1859, Thomas b-1862, Samuel b-1863, Louisa b-1865, James b-1867, and Robert Franklin Burchell b-1870.
