On 1840 census we find Jonathan Suitz with female over 20 and 2 females under 5. On 1850 census we find Jonathan Suitz with wife Nancy and [daughter (?) age 10 and Elizabeth Ann Coleman age 12]. On 1860 census Elizabeth Ann Coleman is still listed in the household of Jonathan Suitz, the next year she married Levi Sutton. They are both buried at Howard's Chapel in Rockingham County. They died about a year apart. When we pulled the death certicate of their daughter, Phebe Catherine, it shows her mother as Betty Sutton and her father as James Fuller. We are certain on the parents as Levi and Elizabeth(Betty) for Phebe Catherine but wonder if Elizabeth married James Fuller after Levi's death. Can any one do a look up for me of a marriage between Elizabeth (Betty) Coleman Sutton and James Fuller in the late 1890s? Would love to trade information with some of the families of this couple.
