Moved to TN 1846, then to Columbia Co.,AR in 1847, finally to Cherokee Co., TX in 1852. Wootson HARRIS married 1st Mary E. FRANKS (b. Abt. 1835 Columbia Co., AR) Jan 10, 1853. Of their union, was: Charles who married Mamie LANG, they had: Emma, Archie, Joe, and Arthur HARRIS. Gust Henry who married unknown, they had: Simon, Charles, Edgar, and Fanny HARRIS. Virginia Fanny who married Sam WINNE, they had: Augusta and Blanche WINNE. Hugh Henry (no info) Samuel Thomas who married Delphine LANG, they had: Augustus H., Ida, Maude, Wootson D., and Cecil Wesley HARRIS. Wootson Jr. who married E. Maude DAVENPORT-MEFF, they had: Clarence, William and Allen HARRIS. Wootson married Laura T. NEIL ANDERSON, but she died the same year they were married, 1872. He married Mary Ellen CLINE in 1875 in Huntsville, Walker Co., TX. Of their union: Mary Rosalie (there is some question to whether Mary was from Mary Ellen CLINE'S 1st marriage), James Wootson, Laura Safronia, Margaret Esther, Robert Mercer, James Watson, Benjamin Stanley, William Virgil, Jessey Cline, Stephen Daniel, Mary Ellen and Joe.
