I am trying to locate the family of Elizabeth MITCHELL b ? 1780/1790. She married John RUSSELL born 1784 of Rockingham, North Carolina about 1807. They had four of their 11 children in North Carolina befor migrating to Floyd, County Indiana. Their first daughter was Sarah b. abt 1809 NC. It thought they may have been related to other MITCHELLS who came to Indiana from Kentucky such as George D. MITCHELL b. 1813. I believe these MITCHELL to may have come from North Carolina prior to Kentucky.
