    3. I am researching the WILLIIAM PEMLOTT LOMAX line. Born 14 FEB 1745 Rockingham County, NC., died 2 JULY 1813 Wilson County, TN. Married Sarah Knight who was born 18 AUG 1749 died c. 1825 Wilson County, TN. William LOMAX Pvt. Blounts Co. Dates of Enlistment & Commission 1779 Period of Enlistment W Occurrences- Omtd. Nov. 1779 #2372- Wm. Lomax pg. 16 folio pg.1 #446- Halifax Dist. Onslow Co. #259-Newbern Dist. #692- To who granted and Rank William Lomax Privt. No. of Acres 274 Service in months 36 April 27, 1784 Alex. Nelson, self 10th Regiment Col. Abraham Shepherd 2 males 16 or more 2 male under 16 3 female Roster of Soldiers from NC in the American Revolution I found the above but I'm not real sure what it all means. I understand it all separately but not why it's all together. Also since I have this much information how come when I send to the National Archives no one has ever heard of him?
