    1. [NCROCKHA-L] DONNEL In NC
    2. Nona Williams
    3. I found the following in The Guilford Genealogist, Vol. 26, No. 1 Winter 1999 Issue No. 84 in an article titled Pennsylvania Records of Some Early Guilford Settlers by Donald R. Simpson, page 39, "The 1768 Thomas Donnell tax list for that part of Rowan County that later was Guilford County includes Henry Work, James Work, John Work, Francis McBride, Samuel Maxwell and Francis Maxwell." The article doesn't include any more information about Thomas Donnell but I believe I've seen that name associated with the Buffalo Church Community in Guilford County. -Nona nona@rof.com <mailto:nona@rof.com>   http://www.rof.com/gene <http://www.rof.com/gene> (web site) Nona Williams PO Box 3793 Santa Cruz, CA 95063 >-----Original Message----- >From: John R Vermeer [mailto:johnve@juno.com] >Sent: Tuesday, March 30, 1999 10:04 AM >To: NCROCKHA-L@rootsweb.com >Subject: [NCROCKHA-L] DONNEL In NC > > >Hello, > >It appears that there may have been a few DONNEL families in NC during >the timeframe 1760-1830.
