I am new to the list. My 2nd great grandparents were Landon Harrison c1790 and Sarah Ann Burgess c1805 who married in Rockingham County 1828. Landon was the son of William and Eleanor Harrison. I do not know the parents of Sarah Ann but possibly George Burgess. William and Eleanor Harrison I believe lived on Town Creek. William died between 1826 and 1829. Landon owned property in Leaksville. The children of Landon and Sarah were Robert David 1833, George Washington c1835, Joel Edward Green 1838 (circuit rider Methodist) and Sarah Ann (Brooks). Landon had brothers John, William, Zachariah,Starling or Sterling. All were born before 1790. I would love information on any Harrison or Burgess.
