I have a family: Joseph & Nancy McCLAIN (his will proven 1805 in Rockingham Co, NC ) Children: Joseph ........ could have married Mary and moved to Henry & Weakley Co, Tn....may have been born about 1774 . George ...... may have stayed in NC could be the husband of Jane DILL of Caswell Co, NC....could be father of Rachel Christa McClain PASHALL of Henry Co, Tn. (George mentioned in Joseph's will as owning property in 1805 in Rockingham Co, NC Charles....... could have married Elizabeth? and moved to Weakley Co, Tn.....could have been born around 1780 Thomas .... at this time, not a clue Nancy...... married a ? CHAMBERS and remained in Rockingham Co NC with some children going to Henry/Weakley Co, Tn... Nancy sent a letter to her sister and daughter in Weakley Co in 1861.... Mary........ married Joseph ALDERDICE and moved to Weakley Co, Tn. she was born around 1794 Betsy could have married a ? LYNN and remained in Rockingham Co, NC... Betsy was still alive in 1861 Any place where I say "could have or may have".....this is not proven.........that is what I am trying to do. I will be happy to exchange info.........I am trying to tie this all together.........I have a copy of the letter........thank you...........pj
