Does anyone have information on a Samuel ADAMS from Rockingham County? Probably moved to Orange County? My g-g-g-grandparents George Washington HUGHES and Sarah PASCAL obtained a marriage bond in Orange County October 1839 and Samuel ADAMS was a bondsman. I don't know the parents of George and have been searching for any clues. He might have come from Rockingham County and I think I also saw something about a Samuel ADAMS from there as well.
