Hi folks - I'd be most appreciative of any information you might be able to give about Capt. William Hamilton Sutherland and his ancestry. He was the son of John L. Sutherland, was born in Rockingham County on 25 April 1830 and died 25 Jan 1925 at Hillsville, VA. He married Rhoda Jane Cassell on 05 December 1874 and had five children: Minnie, Walter, Alice, Edgar and Virginia Maude. My best and thanks much in advance for any help.
