Does any body know where James Delay, born in Ireland abt 1747, d. abt 1815 in North Carolina is buried ? James Delay was a member of the Guilford Co. Militia during the American Revolution. He lived near the "Iron Works" in the Troublesome Creek area near the Haw River in Rockingham Co., NC which is close to the Guilford Co. line. James Delay had a son: Birgess Delay 1770 - 1823, also interested in his place of burial. There was a "Carroll" family who lived near the Delay's, would like to locate Carroll family graves also.
