OAKLEY, the last named being an infant who appears by her Sister and next best friend Elvira OAKLEY, Plaintiff Against B.Y. BRINSFIELD and Pleas SLADE APPLICATION To Sue As Pauper To the Superior Court of Rockingham County This is to certify: 1st, That we have examined the case of the Plaintiff's in the above mentioned action, and believe that they have a good and meritorions cause of action in fact and law. 2nd, That we will prosecute said action as their counsel without any fee or reward whatever. BOYD and REID Attorneys Rockingham County:--SS Elvira OAKLEY being sworn says: That she is unable to give sureties or make the deposit required by law to enable her to prosecute the above action, against the Defendant B.Y. OAKLEY be allowed to prosecute her said suit as a Pauper. 2nd, That no officer shall require of her any fee, and she shall recover no costs. 3rd, That BOYD & REID be assigned to him as counsel to prosecute said action.
