Looking for info on James "Uncle Jim" Foust, a former slave from Alamance co., who migrated to Reidsville in the late 1860's. He moved to Madison in the late 1870's, where he remained until his death in 1937. He ran a brickyard in Madison and had a church "Mt Carmel Holiness Tabernacle, which was located beside his home. His home was located were the Stone Arbor Retirement Center on Franklin St. is today. He was married to Martha Jane Scales of Reidsville in Rockingham County.
